Planning Your Goa Wedding

Sangeet Choreography in Goa

Goa’s beaches, resort lawns and open decks make it one of India’s most relaxed destination wedding settings. Sumit Khetan Entertainment choreographs Goa weddings with that mood in mind: sunset couple dances, breezy sangeets and beachfront varmala moments, staged so they work in open air.

What we choreograph for Goa weddings

  • Sangeets on lawns, decks and in resort ballrooms
  • Sunset couple dances and beachfront varmala concepts
  • Bride and groom entries designed for open-air settings
  • Family performances and easy group dances for guests

Planning a destination sangeet in Goa

  • Choose the season. Most Goa weddings happen between November and February; the monsoon months make outdoor events difficult.
  • Have an indoor back-up for rehearsals and, if possible, for the sangeet itself.
  • Plan sound and lighting with the venue. Outdoor stages need both, and venues have their own rules on music timings.
  • Learn before you travel. Families learn their routines through online sessions and video tutorials; our team travels to Goa for the final rehearsals and the event.

Rehearsals run over 6 to 8 days on average, with 2 to 3 days dedicated to the couple, and we are usually booked around 6 months ahead. See our sangeet planning checklist, our couple dance songs, or tell us about your wedding.
