How We Choreograph Indian Weddings Overseas

Sumit Khetan Entertainment choreographs Indian destination weddings in the Gulf, South-East Asia and Europe, and has worked with NRI families from the UAE, the UK, the USA, Bahrain, Singapore and other countries. The process is designed for families who live in different cities and time zones.

Some of our weddings abroad

  • Doha: Abhinav and Tulika’s wedding at Hilton Salwa Beach Resort, and Shrutika and Shubham’s wedding at Fairmont Doha, featured on WeddingSutra
  • Bahrain: Pranay and Mishika’s Sufi night, sangeet and varmala at Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq

How a destination wedding abroad works

  1. Book around 6 months ahead and agree the concept, the acts and who performs in each.
  2. Lock the music about 6 weeks before the wedding.
  3. Learn online. Each act gets detailed video tutorials, and live Zoom sessions polish timing and formations.
  4. Rehearse at the destination. Our team flies in for the final rehearsals and runs the show on the day. Rehearsals run over 6 to 8 days on average, with 2 to 3 days dedicated to the couple.

Choose a destination above, read our guide to sangeet choreography for NRI families, or tell us about your wedding.
